First 30mi - Saucony Endorphin Speed 3

I’m 30mi into my Saucony’s and thought I’d share my initial thoughts. These are my first shoes that have plates if any kind.

Feel: These shoes are super comfortable. You can definitely feel the plate and response of the shoe. It’s not a “relaxing” run shoe for me- the propulsive reaction naturally has me running a bit faster. This is fine with me though since it’s been a while since I’ve been any sort of training plan or pace goals and the change up is welcome.

Durability: As others have pointed out, these shoes hold up to the tune of what looks like a 300-350mi run life. They’re already showing solid wear in a few key spots. Though, I was hoping to get more from them after coming from a long series of Hokas.

Overall, if I were in a more training mindset, I’d definitely rotate these on faster days with something like a Rincon 3 for less intense days. But since I’m just running, I’m actually happy to treat these as daily runners without any reservations.

—————— For context- I’ve only just started to explore the diversity of running shoes out there.I’ve typically just run in “what I know”

My history with shoes have been: 2008-2018 Nike Free and New Balance 2019-2023 Hoka Rincon mostly but dabbled in Mach 4/5, Bondi and Clifton’s as well
